About
We make these ourselves.
Snugshape is not a storefront that forwards your order to a print shop somewhere else. It is a family-run dye-sublimation factory in Los Angeles that decided to sell directly. The people who cut and sew your pillow are the people who own the place.
How a pillow actually gets made
Printed, front and back separately
Dye-sublimation puts the image into the fabric rather than on top of it, so there is no layer to crack or peel. The two faces are printed as separate panels.
Cut to your outline, then sewn
The cut line is the one you approved in the 3D preview. The panels are sewn together along it — which is why some shapes are possible and some are not.
Filled, checked, boxed
Filled by hand and looked at by a person before it goes in the box.
One at a time, after you order it
Nothing is made in advance, and there is no minimum — a single pillow is a normal order here, not an exception. The shop can make around 200 pieces a day, which is the honest reason lead times are what they are: yours is built when it reaches the front of the queue, not pulled off a shelf.
There are five cats in this family
Five cats, and a lot of other animals besides. Pets are not a market segment we picked off a chart — they are what the house is full of. It is also why a person, not only software, looks at every cut line before anything is sewn: we know what a bad cutout of a real animal looks like.
What you will not find here
No reviews we did not receive
There are no star ratings and no testimonials on this site, because the founding batch has not shipped yet. When there are real ones, they will be real.
No product photos of products that do not exist
Every pillow you see on this site is a labelled drawing built from the same geometry our cutter uses, and it says so on its face. Photographs will replace them once there is something to photograph.
